VES Land Trust seeks full-time Stewardship Manager

The Virginia Eastern Shore Land Trust (VES Land Trust) seeks a full-time Stewardship Manager to implement its stewardship program on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The position will require field and office work, mapping using ArcGIS and other software/technology services, and digital photography; detailed note taking, reporting, and recordkeeping. It requires good communication skills and knowledge and understanding of traditional and current land use, agriculture, conservation, and land preservation practices. The Stewardship Manager will also help lead outreach and education programs, plan and coordinate the annual fundraiser, and perform administration and other tasks as needed. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years working experience in a related field is preferred. Equivalent education and experience will be considered in place of a degree. Must have a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
