The exhibit opens with a reception on Friday, November 8th. At the reception, photographers and VES Land Trust staff will be present to talk more about the photographs, the artistic process, conservation, and the land.

The reception is free and open to the public. All photographs will be available for sale with 35% of proceeds benefiting VES Land Trust and their conservation mission.

Student, amateur, and professional photographers of all ages are invited to submit one (1) photo each that features the natural beauty and environment of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Entries must feature the natural environment of the Eastern Shore and should focus on landscapes, plants, recreation, waterways, and wildlife.

Join VES Land Trust and Ted Shockley for a workshop on taking pictures with your cell phone! The workshop is in person Tuesday, September 24th from 5-7 p.m. This workshop is meant for anyone who would like to learn the basics of cell phone photography and how to take your best photos.

The Fall Gathering will be held on the beautiful porch at Look East Farm. Dinner and drinks will be included. The Gathering is catered by Amy Brandt and held on October 2nd (rain date will be Oct. 9th). Tickets are $100 per person and will be limited to 60 guests.
